Macaroni and Cheese Pasta

Macaroni and Cheese: Mac n Cheese Pasta is prepared with macaroni pasta and lots of cheese and a thick white sauce made with wheat flour. 

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1-2 cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • Salt
  • 2-3 tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
  • Elbow Pasta
  • half cup grated cheddar cheese

 

BOIL MACARONI _ (Elbow Macaroni)

  • Boil water in a container. 
  • When the water comes to boil, put elbow macaroni in it and cook until it gets soft, about 8-10 minutes. Don’t overcook the macaroni.
  • Strain and wash macaroni under running water till it cools down.
  • Then strain macaroni in a container and drizzle some olive oil on it to avoid sticking to each other.

 

MAKING WHITE SAUCE

  • Now make the mixture for macaroni.
  • Melt butter in a pan.
  • Add flour, salt, and pepper and mix until it gets smooth. 
  • Gradually pour in the milk and mix until the combination is smooth and bubbling.
  • Keep stirring and whisking constantly so that milk doesn’t get burned and avoid lumps.
  • Cook for some 3-4 minutes until sauce comes together and becomes thick and smooth.

 

ADD CHEESE AND MACARONI _ 

  • Add cheddar to the white sauce and gradually stir under cheddar is melted and gets smooth and softened.
  • Now add macaroni and mix all together into the sauce until they get completely mixed with each other.
  • Serve hot.
